BioI'm a English Lit Student at Worcester Uni. I'm always going to gigs, as I love live music. Saying that though Worcester doesn't tend to have much of a music scene, so I tend to have to travel a bit to get my fix of music.
I'd like to say I'm a pretty relaxed person most of the time, but once something gets under my skin I wont stop until I've sorted it. I guess I like everything to be simple in my life, open ended situations just lead to confusion.
I love going out and drinking too much. I'm a friendly drunk, and always end up having a giggle mostly at my own expense, but I like it like that, if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at?!! And in amoungst all the drunken giggles I always manage to get myself into a little bit of trouble.....it's good for the soul to have a bit of a naughty streak I think, as long as you don't upset anyone in the process what harm can it do?
I spend as much time as I can visiting my family and mates in Norwich. I love it there. As someone once said to me Norwich is like a big duvet, it's warm and homely, and always makes you feel welcome. Another thing I love about it is that you get some pretty cool punk bands playing there, and the local punk bands are totally wicked.
I'm writing a poetry anothology for my course at uni on the novel 100 years of solitude. It's pretty scarey stuff, I just hope I do the book justice, although I doubt it. My creative writing module is totally wicked. It's great to be able to write as part of my course, I love it.
I don't seem to sleep enough at the moment, which is a shame because sleep is the most amazing thing. I think it's because I keep having crazy dreams which tend to stay with me for the whole of the next day. It's the oddest thing. It'll probably be the sleep deprivation that's doing it! I think I need to spend more time in my bed...and besides my bed is the best bed in the world because it sounds like sleep! And if I ever meet anyone who doesn't need me to explain what I mean by that, I will have met my soulmate....ah Nickisms!
